Marc Bielas
Introduction
Marc Bielas is orchestrating SE Ventures ‘ early-stage Accelerator Program across the Western US, investing in and mentoring Founders as well as supporting key relationships with local funds, Universities and labs.
Professional Experience
Before joining SE Ventures, Marc was a founder, technologist and investor in deep tech and the built environment. He most recently helped develop the company creation process and launch companies for Roadrunner, a venture studio focused on energy and industrial tech coming out of the US national labs and universities. Prior to that, he was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Turner Construction focused on data centers and evaluating Acquisition targets which was the culmination of 5-years of founding and running Quilt, a construction tech company focused on vertically integrated prefabricated apartments. He also worked in the IoT space in asset tracking and smart cities, leading the largest LPWAN deployment in North America and has directly invested in venture throughout his career.
Education
Marc graduated from Yale University with a degree in Architecture and Computer Science and recognition as an Energy Scholar in the field of Science and Technology. He loves skiing, architecture, dry saunas and bagels.
