The SE Ventures Accelerator is a program for pre-seed founders looking to build unicorns in Climate Tech and Industrial Tech. Over 12 weeks, you'll work closely with SE Ventures and Schneider Electric teams to accelerate your journey to product-market-fit.
-
Founders building SaaS and AI startups in Climate tech and Industrial tech. We are especially interested in founders working on solving problems in the following areas: Grid modernization, Building automation & Industrial process automation, Data center efficiency, Sustainability of climate & environmental resource management.
-
The program is virtual with one in-person event - the Demo Day on 10th September. Expect to spend up to 3 days in the San Francisco bay area for the event, which will provide an excellent opportunity to build your network with other cohort startups as well as VCs and corporate partners.
-
The program lasts for 12 weeks, accounting for summer vacation schedules. The weekly office hour as well as the in-person Demo Day are mandatory, but the rest of the schedule can be tailored between the founders and their mentors.
-
We are looking to shortlist between three to five startups this year to be part of the SE Ventures Accelerator cohort.
-
Startups that are selected to the cohort are expected to adhere to the program schedule, accept the $100K SAFE (uncapped, 30% discount, super pro rata) and pitch at demo day in person.
-
You will be matched with an expert mentor from Schneider Electric to guide you towards product-market fit. You'll receive a $100K investment in the form of an uncapped SAFE and gain introductions to potential customers and partners within Schneider Electric’s business units and global network. Ultimately, you'll become part of SE Ventures' community of founders, providing support, and learning opportunities throughout your journey.
-
We are confident the program will sharpen your startup’s market fit and set you up for the commercial acceleration your company needs. However, there is no guaranteed outcome in the form of commercial contracts, partnerships, or pilots. Our experience working with startups in the past has shown that the relationships built during this program will last far beyond the term of the program and result in highly beneficial results for those startups selected.
-
To ensure participation in the whole program, the SAFE payment will be made in 2 installments. $50K will be paid once the Cohort is selected and program terms are agreed. The remaining $50K will be paid out at the end of the program after presentation at the demo day.
-
We are looking for SaaS and AI-first companies that can deliver positive outcomes in Climate Tech and Industrial Tech sectors. Although our focus is on software, we are also open to companies that may have some hardware components (sensors, IoT devices, etc.) enabled by software, data, or AI.
